September Vandalia Farmer’s Market is set for tomorrow (Saturday) from 8 am to 12 pm

The September edition of the Vandalia Farmer’s Market is set for tomorrow from 8 am to 12 pm in downtown Vandalia.

The Fayette County Farm Bureau and Prairie Farms are teaming up to bring the Milk Box Giveaway.  The first 300 families will receive a free box of Prairie Farms products while supplies last.  Each box will feature a variety of dairy products and there are no income or residency requirements—limit one per family.

Also, the Vandalia FFA Chapter will have a Petting Zoo.  There will also bee a special pumpkin activity for kids and there will be Story Time at 10 am inside Vandalia City Hall.

The Farmer’s Market will be from 8 am to 12 pm on 5th street next to Vandalia City Hall.
