(Douglas Co., IL) — The Illinois Department of Public Health is responding to an outbreak of measles in Douglas County. Four cases have been identified in the county. The IDPH is working with local health departments to identify residents who were exposed to patients during their infectious period. Health officials are also offering vaccination to those who are high-risk, as well as others in the community.
