A juvenile was injured in an ATV accident in rural southwestern Fayette County.
A report from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says that an ATV being operated by a 13 year old Juvenile–which was a 2026 Polaris 450 Sportsman–was traveling west bound on East 200 Ave within the 400 block on the ATV. The report says that, for unknown reasons, the ATV left the roadway to the left side. The ATV then struck a driveway and culvert end at 432 E 200 Ave, where it went airborne before coming down sideways. The ATV then began to flip multiple times within the ditch on the opposite of the driveway. The Juvenile was transported by medical helicopter to the hospital.
The accident occurred at 6:56 pm on Sunday evening.
