There is a low chance of severe storms through Saturday, although it looks like that will stay off to our north.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a stalled cold front will continue to serve as the focus for additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms through Saturday. Much of this focus will be across Iowa and northern Illinois, but a few storms may clip parts of northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois this evening and/or Saturday. Damaging winds are the main threat in addition to very heavy downpours if these storms impact our region.
