(Undated)  —  A salmonella outbreak has been reported in 27 states, including Illinois.  Elaine Leigh Irvine reports.

The CDC says 345 total cases of salmonella have been reported in the multistate outbreak as of Tuesday, with 30 of those cases reported in Illinois.
