Although it will still be a hot and humid day, we do begin a bit of a cool off today that will continue into the upcoming weekend.
Much of the region is still under some sort of heat advisory or warning today, but Fayette County is not. Today we are looking at mostly sunny skies with a high of 89. And, then we really begin to see a little relief tonight as we’ll see mostly clear skies and a low down to 64.
Meanwhile, we will cool down even more for the remainder of the work week, seeing highs in the lower to middle 80’s each day. Our next bigger chance of rain comes into the forecast for Friday afternoon, Friday night and lingering into Saturday. We look to be in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s for highs this weekend.
