(Casey, IL) — The first federally-funded electric vehicle charging station in Illinois is now up and running in Casey. State officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the station yesterday. The facility was built through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program. Officials say the new station will make travel by electric vehicle even more reliable and accessible in Illinois.
