(Undated) — Illinois health officials are revealing new numbers on the parasitic illness that is spreading across the country. The Illinois Department of Public Health reports, as of yesterday, there have been 216 confirmed cases of cyclosporiasis in the state. Eighteen of those individuals have been hospitalized and 96 have traveled outside the country. Cyclosporiasis can cause intense diarrhea.
