We are looking at sunny skies today with a high of 91. Heat Index Values will be as high as 100 for today. Then a chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight with a low of 73. Meanwhile, we are expecting much the same for the forecast on Thursday.
Meanwhile, there is a threat of severe weather over the region for tonight and then again on Thursday, with the biggest threat for our area looking to be on Thursday. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says there is a potential for severe weather largely north of I-70 this afternoon/evening and again tomorrow afternoon/evening. Today, all hazards will be possible, whereas tomorrow the hazard will primarily be damaging wind.
