The school year has come to an end for the Vandalia School District, but teachers and staff are wasting no time in getting preparations for the 2026-2027 school year. With exams and student attendance wrapping up this week, Vandalia Superintendent Jennifer Garrison says they had a good second semester and now staff leadership is coming together to push forward with work over the summer.
The summer also means a time for the district to dig into projects and building work. One area they are very excited about is the Okaw 2 building. And we will talk with Garrison about that next week on Newscenter.
