(Litchfield, IL) — Illinois is investigating two-point-six-million-dollars to expand Lincoln Land Community College’s Truck Driver Training Program in Litchfield. The funding will be used for design and implementation of infrastructure improvements, which will create a new training site. This investment aims to help meet the growing need for licensed commercial drivers, support local economic development, and provide stable career opportunities for Illinoisans. Since its inception in 1998, LLCC’s Truck Driver Training Program has helped thousands of people obtain their commercial driver’s license.
