(Chicago, IL) — Governor Pritzker is urging the Trump administration to approve Illinois’ broadband expansion plan. The proposal would provide more than one-billion-dollars in federal funding to expand broadband access to more than 383-thousand Illinois residents. Illinois and California are the only two states awaiting approval. Pritzker made the request in a letter sent to U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick.
