Two new police officers are official on the job for the Saint Elmo Police Department. Before Wednesday’s Saint Elmo City Council meeting, Tristan Overvig and Bradin Baucum were sworn in as the newest Saint Elmo Police Officers. Saint Elmo Police Chief Jeremy Scruggs said he believes the two bring a lot of potential as officers.
With the additions of Officers Overvig and Baucum it will give the Saint Elmo Police Department a full staff, something that Scruggs thinks will be a big benefit to the community.
Officer’s Overvig and Baucum were sworn in by Saint Elmo Mayor Kim Baron.
