(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois Department of Labor is touting the recovery of hundreds of thousands of dollars in back wages. IDOL announced it recovered 398-thousand-dollars in unpaid wages and assessed penalties against three employers found in violation of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The wages were owed to 29 workers from General Energy Corp in DuPage County, Lake of Egypt Docks in Jackson County, and Empire Electric in Henry County.
