(Massac Co., IL) — A Kentucky man is charged in a 42-year-old murder case in southern Illinois. State police say in March 1984, Lisa Ann Carnes’ body was discovered in a field in rural Massac County. She died from a single gunshot wound. The Massac County State’s Attorney’s Office charged George Bradfield last week with five counts of murder. An investigation is ongoing.
