(Pekin, IL) — A man charged with the murder of a Pekin teen who went missing nearly a decade ago is pleading not guilty. Brackett entered the not guilty plea yesterday in Tazewell County Circuit Court. He faces multiple counts of first-degree murder in the death of 13-year-old Robert Bee. The teen went missing in November 2016 before his skeletal remains were found in September 2017 in Tazewell County. Brackett is accused of strangling Robert and then hiding his body.
