Rain moves on and we’ll see clearing skies today—severe storms possible Friday evening

We will get a break from the storms today.

The rain and storms will push through the area this morning. Once they are gone, we will see gradually clearing skies for today with a high of 80. Then, mostly clear skies for tonight with a low of 58.

Meanwhile, showers and storms will return to the forecast on Friday. And, with a strong cold front coming through that means there will be a chance of severe storms hitting the area area Friday evening.
