We are looking at sunny skies for today with a high of 76. Winds from the southwest will gust better than 25 miles per hour today. Then, we’ll see partly cloudy skies for tonight with a low of 56.
Meanwhile, the National Weather Service in St. Louis says we have an elevated fire danger today. The NWS says elevated fire danger is forecast this afternoon for this area. The combination of the wind, low humidity and dry vegetation will make fires difficult to control. The NWS says to leave the burning to the professionals and make sure all fires are fully extinguished, no matter their size.
Meanwhile, rain comes into the forecast on Friday with a bit cooler temperatures.
