Two individuals were sentenced to time in the Department of Corrections this week in Fayette County Court.
On Tuesday, 50 year old John D. McGinness of Vandalia pleaded guilty to one count of Domestic Battery, while having a prior conviction. McGinnis was sentenced by Judge Alan Lolie to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Also on Tuesday, 31 year old Lucas Ephron of Vandalia pleaded guilty to one count of Unlawful Possession of less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine. He was sentenced by Judge Lolie to 2 years in prison.
