An early morning fire in Farina has claimed the lives of two men.
Fayette County Coroner Dave Harris reports that 19 year old Brandon Fulk and his brother, 18 year old Zachary Fulk, were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. Harris adds that a younger sibling was able to escape the burning home.
Harris says an autopsy will be performed on both men in Springfield today. He adds that no further information will be released at this time as this is an ongoing investigation. Harris says that in addition to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the Farina Police Department, the Illinois State Fire Marshall’s Office and area Fire Departments and First Responders were at the scene.
