Vandalia Mayor gives update on Data Centers

It’s been pretty quiet on the “Data Center” information front and it probably will stay that way for a while.

Speaking on our podcast “Talking about Vandalia,” Mayor Doug Knebel gives an update on a potential Data Center in Vandalia. A group came to meet with the City’s Economic Development Commission early this year. And, since that time, there hasn’t been much talk. Knebel says there still isn’t much of an update as the company is looking into grid availability at this time.

And, Mayor Knebel says there will be a lot of public input if the project gets to the next step. He also reminds everyone Vandalia wouldn’t be looking at one of the mega-data centers you see discussed in many other areas.
