We are looking at mostly sunny skies for today with a high of 80. Winds from the southwest will gust up to 20 miles per hour today. Then, we’ll see partly cloudy skies for tonight with a low of 47.
Meanwhile, the National Weather Service in St. Louis says there are erratic fire spread conditions around the area today. They add conditions favorable for erratic fire spread will exist in and around the I-70 corridor today where elevated wind speeds and low humidity overlap. Elsewhere conditions will not be as favorable. Stay safe from fire danger by properly discarding cigarettes, avoid parking on dry grass, and avoid activities that cause open flames or sparks.
