We begin a rollercoaster ride of weather over these next several days that will include everything from snow to severe storms.

Saturday will be our calmest day with partly sunny skies and a high of 60.
Sunday will begin some bigger changes. Rain and thunderstorms are in our forecast for Sunday with a high of 67. Winds from the south will gust better than 35 miles per hour on Sunday. Temperatures will then drop significantly as a strong cold front will come through. That rain will change over to snow on Sunday night with a low of 24 with snow accumulation of less than 1 inch possible on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, severe storms will be on the way to the area on Sunday afternoon/evening. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a strong cold front will pass through the region on Sunday, resulting in increasing coverage of showers and storms. The threats will increase over southeast sections of the region on Sunday afternoon and evening. The primary threat will be damaging winds with a secondary threat of tornadoes.
Meanwhile, we will be left with much colder temperatures to start the new work week with a high of just 27 on Monday and 33 on Tuesday.
