(Springfield, IL) — Governor Bruce Rauner is giving the Illinois State Museum the green light to re-open, but there’s a catch. Rauner has issued an amendatory veto to a Senate bill that would welcome visitors to the museum again, but the veto says the museum must find third-party funding. The veto also directs the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to charge entrance fees.
