Several topics were discussed on Wednesday night at the monthly Saint Elmo City Council Meeting. The first item that was discussed was the approval of reappointing Lucas Underwood to the zoning board for a 5-year term. The Council then approved hiring resident Gavin Koontz to design a new website for the City. When giving his presentation, Koontz discussed what he hopes for the website.
The Council then approved the purchase of a new fuel pump for the Police Unit 22-2 from Sperry Service for the price of 899 dollars. The Council lastly approved three bids from Mid-Eastern for a 6800 dollar hydrant replacement, a 12,740 dollar water meter replacement, and a 29,400 dollar water main extension for Richardson Brothers’ Greenhouse.
