State Representative Blaine Wilhour made a visit to Vandalia on Saturday evening as he was in attendance at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner. With work going on in Springfield, Wilhour says its always good to take a break and be back home with his constituents.
This past week, news of the Chicago Bears getting an offer to build a new stadium in Indiana has been a hot topic and in talking about that, Wilhour says it’s just another example of how neighboring states are becoming more appealing than Illinois for business.
When looking at the overall issues with funding and taxes amongst other issues in the State, Wilhour says there isn’t a shortage of money in Springfield but there is an issue with what is being prioritized.
