We will see sunshine for today with a high of 70. Winds from the west will gust 25 miles per hour today. Then, increasing clouds for tonight with a low of 51.
Meanwhile, a good amount of the area will see an elevated fire danger for today. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a combination of low humidity and gusty west/southwest winds today will lead to erratic fire behavior with any fire that does start north of I-70. Individuals are asked to leave any burning to the professionals.
