Vandalia Mayor talks about next steps for the Civic Advancement Committee

The first meeting is now completed and now the serious work for the re-established Civic Advancement Committee will begin.

Tuesday was the introductory public meeting with a lot of pomp and circumstance and talking about positives that have taken place in the community in the past few years. Speaking on our podcast “Talking about Vandalia,” Mayor Doug Knebel says now they will get down to work with their next meeting on Tuesday and he talks more about what some of their work might look like.

And, Mayor Knebel says he knows the meeting on Tuesday was full of positive–which he says he believes was necessary to start. But, he says they will now likely focus on some major issues where the communities need to improve.
