(Bridgeport, IL) — A Lawrence County man is accused of killing his wife. State police say Omni Hooker was found shot to death last Thursday in a home in the 700 block of Washington Street in Bridgeport. Elijah Hooker was arrested at the scene and charged with murder. He remains in custody at the Lawrence County Jail.
