A recent poll shows Republican candidate for Governor Darren Bailey with a big lead in the race for the GOP nomination.
The poll, conducted by WGN-TV in Chicago, shows Bailey with 34% of the vote compared to 8% for Ted Dabrowski and 5% for James Mendrick. Speaking while in Vandalia on Saturday, Bailey says he’s certainly pleased with the poll numbers. But, he did urge some caution.
Bailey was in Vandalia on Saturday for a large fundraising event for his campaign at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. We will hear more from Bailey coming up tomorrow.
