(Tazewell County, IL) — Cleanup underway in Tazewell County after yesterday’s severe storms. A portion of Springfield Road, between State Route 9 and Broadway in rural Pekin was closed for hours yesterday afternoon. Utility crews were working along the road into the early morning hours. Some of Springfield Road will need significant repairs, according to the sheriff’s office.
