A two vehicle accident this past week led to one individual being injured.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office reports the accident occurred last week on Thursday at 7:38 pm. It was on U.S. Route 51 at Hawg Diner. Information says that a vehicle driven by Ronnie Naab was leaving Hawg Diner and entered Route 51 northbound from the parking lot after it just finished raining. Reports says the vehicle pulled directly into the path of a second vehicle driven by a juvenile where it was struck in the rear within 32 feet of leaving the parking lot. Reports say the Naab vehicle went across the road and into the west ditch and the second unit went into the east ditch. The driver of the second unit was transported to Fayette County Hospital by Rural Med Ambulance.
