(Chicago, IL) — A new commission designed to keep track of the actions of federal agents in Illinois is getting to work. Dr. Rohini Haar spoke about the agents use of force at The Illinois Accountability Commission’s first meeting yesterday in Chicago.
The commission outlined its function and purpose, presented two video montages highlighting concerning actions by federal agents, and heard a first-hand witness account. Governor Pritzker launched the commission in October to capture and create a public record of the conduct of federal law enforcement agents. The Commission announced it will open a portal in January to accept information from the public.
