The below information from Fayette County EMA—-
Due to the predicted wind chill temperatures forecasted to be between 15-20 below, warming centers are on standby if needed. Please follow this page for opening announcements. If you are in need of a warming center please call 618-283-5005 and leave a message. The following is a current list of warming centers that COULD be opened if needed:
St. Elmo: Magnus Conference Hall 110 W. 4th Stret
Farina: Farina Fire Department 200 Madison Street
St. Peter: St. Peter Fire Department 301 E. 3rd Street
Brownstown: Brownstown Fire Department 306 E. Cumberland Road
Vandalia: Centerpointe Church 1616 W. Veterans Ave
Ramsey: Ramsey Fire Department 122 6th Street
