(Springfield, IL) — Illinois is honoring Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day this weekend. State and U.S. flags will be flown at half staff on Sunday to remember the heroes who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. It is also in tribute to all the service members who sacrificed for the preservation of our rights and freedoms.
