In the latest Weather Briefing from the National Weather Service in St. Louis, it states accumulating snow is likely across the area on Saturday. The NWS says that snowfall rates of 1 inch to 1.5 inches per hour will be possible on Saturday morning over the watch area, which will overcome marginal surface temperatures and allow the snow to accumulate rapidly. They add that these conditions will result in hazardous travel given the higher rates and holiday weekend, so caution is advised when traveling.
