(Effingham Co., IL) — One person is dead and another is hurt after a head-on crash in Effingham County. Authorities say two vehicles collided yesterday morning on the Dieterich blacktop just south of Dieterich. Jacqueline Adams was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second victim was sent to the hospital. The crash is still under investigation.
