Gov Pritzker Joins Other Governors In Public Health Alliance

(Springfield, IL) — Governor J.B. Pritzker is joining the Governors’ Public Health Alliance in response to the government shutdown. The alliance includes governors from 15 states, representing roughly 129-million Americans, or about 37-percent of the population. The plan is to coordinate efforts on vaccine policy, healthcare access, and emergency response. Additionally, Governor Pritzker signed an executive order protecting immunization access for residents of Illinois after the “dangerous federal rollbacks.”
