The Altamont Lady Indians got their third straight victory coming away with a three-set win over the Saint. Elmo/Brownstown Lady Eagles 25-14, 14-25, 25-18 on Tuesday night. The Lady Indians got off to a hot start in the first set taking a commanding 8-3 lead, and later extending that lead to 15-8. Altamont would go on a 10-6 run to come away with the 15-14 set win. SEB would quickly put the first set behind them as they would jump out to a 10-4 lead of their own, and wouldn’t relinquish that lead, evening the match with a 25-14 set win. The two teams would trade points to start the third set, but Altamont would slowly take control taking a 16-11 lead. The Lady Indians would then go on a 9-7 run to come away with the 25-18 match victory. The win improves Altamont to 9-8-1 on the season, and 5-3 in NTC play. They will be on the road Wednesday to take on Effingham. SEB falls 13-9 on the season and 5-3 in NTC play. They will be on the road Thursday to take on Mullberry Grove.
