The 83rd annual Vandalia Lion’s Club Halloween Parade is now less than a month away.
The annual parade will be held on Thursday, October 23rd at 7 pm in downtown Vandalia. The theme for this year is “back in the 50’s” and Fayette County Coroner Dave Harris will serve at the Grand Marshal for this year’s parade.
As for candy, participants are encouraged to hand out candy or take candy to the curb and drop it if they wish but not to throw candy.
Registration will begin at 5 pm at the former Washington School. The parade gets underway at 7 pm.
