The Altamont Indians got out to a 5-3 lead, but could not hang on as they fell to the St. Anthony Bulldogs 7-5 on Tuesday. After two and a half scoreless innings of play, the Bulldogs got on the board in the bottom of the third, scoring a pair of runs to take a 2-0 lead. The Indians would respond in the top of the fourth with a pair of RBI singles from Kaiden Wolff and Carson Milleville to tie the game at 2. Reed Stuemke would give Altamont the lead with a two RBI single to cap off a 4-run inning to make the score 4-2. Wolff would come through again with an RBI single in the fifth inning to give the Indians a 5-2 advantage, but the Bulldogs would not go away quietly, scoring one run in the fifth, and four in the sixth, to come away with the 7-5 win. The loss drops Altamont to 6-5 on the season, and 4-2 in NTC play. The Indians will be back at home on Wednesday to take on St. Anthony.
