The Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers put the tying run on base, but could not bring him home, as they fell to the Windsor/Stwe-Stras Hatchets 2-1 on Tuesday. The Bombers got on the board in the bottom of the third inning when Benji Lowe led off with a double, and later came around to score on a single from Tucker Davison to give BSE a 1-0 lead. That lead would be short-lived, however, as WSS would add on a run in each the fourth and fifth innings to take a 2-1 lead. The Bombers would put the tying run on second with one out, but could not bring him home, as they would fall 2-1. The loss drops the Bombers to 3-9 on the year and 2-5 in NTC play. They will be on the road on Thursday to take on Ramsey.
