The Illinois Freedom Caucus has filed Articles of Impeachment against Governor J.B. Pritzker for what they say is his engaging in conduct that constitutes inciting violence.
Part of the impeachment resolution the Illinois Freedom Caucus filed includes quotes from Governor Pritzker’s State of the State speech on February 19th where he characterized the Trump Administration as using an authoritarian playbook.
Before the announced articles of impeachment, Governor Pritzker denied calling Republicans “Nazis” on Monday.
The impeachment resolution also references an April 27th speech where Governor Pritzker said “These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace.”
