Showers & Storms on the way tonight—Cooler air arrives to the area after that

Showers and storms look to be on the way tonight.

For today, we will see increasing clouds with a high of 85.  Then, showers and storms will arrive to the area tonight and into the early Thursday morning hours with a low of 53.  The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a cold front will bring a round of showers to the area tomorrow afternoon and overnight. While there is some timing uncertainty, most areas are likely to see at least some rain, although we don’t expect this to be a washout. A few thunderstorms will also be possible, but severe storms are not likely.

Meanwhile, cooler air will follow with a high just in the lower 7o’s for Thursday and mid-70’s on Friday.
