A Vandalia woman is facing multiple charges in Fayette County Court.
28 year old Lyndsey R. Partida is facing one Felony charge and two Misdemeanor charges. Partida is charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery, which is a Class 2 Felony. Information on the charge says that Partida is alleged to have caused great bodily harm to an 11 year old child by allegedly biting the child’s arm and causing a bruise. Partida is also facing a charge of Domestic Battery, which is a Class A Misdemeanor. Information says she allegedly struck a 5 year old child in the face, causing lacerations and bruising. Partida is also facing a charge of Endangering the Life or Health of a Child, which is a Class A Misdemeanor.
In Fayette County Court, the People’s petition to deny pretrial release was granted and Partida will be detained pending trial. She will next appear in court with counsel on September 2nd at 9 am.
