We are looking at mostly cloudy skies today with a high of 88. Heat index values will be as high as 100 today. Then, a chance of a shower or thunderstorm tonight with a low of 73.
Meanwhile, the heat is on the way but our window for extreme heat and humidity has shortened a bit. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says showers and storms shortened our window for dangerous heat this week…but it’s not over yet! We’re still expecting an afternoon heat index of 100° to 110+° through Thursday, with the hottest conditions in and around St. Louis.
