Meanwhile, there is severe thunderstorm potential this evening and tonight—but, as of the current map, it looks as if the storms may stay off to our north/northwest. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says storms move in this evening with a low threat for severe weather. These storms weaken as they move south overnight.
