Chance of Showers & Storms this afternoon and tonight—Isolated severe storms possible

We have a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight and isolated severe storms are possible.

Our forecast for today calls for a chance of showers and storms this afternoon with a high of 87.  Then, a chance of showers and storms tonight–with heavy rain also possible–with a low of 70.

Meanwhile, we do have a chance of an isolated severe storms this afternoon and this evening.  The National Weather Service in St. Louis says thunderstorms are likely across parts of the area this afternoon. A few storms could be strong to severe. Isolated wind gusts to 60-70 mph, small hail, and locally heavy rain will be possible with the strongest storms.
