A 24 year old St. Elmo man was killed in a single vehicle accident early this morning.
Fayette County Coroner David Harris reports that 24 year old Alexander D. Lawinger was the operator of a motorcycle that missed a curve and left the roadway on a rural road northwest of Ramsey early this morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. He reports the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was also on the scene. Coroner Harris adds that an autopsy will be scheduled and that no further details are being released at this time.
