Vandalia senior wrestler Kaden Tidwell has joined the Vandals’ 100 Win Club, reaching the milestone this past weekend at the 61st Annual Lyle King Princeton Invitational Tournament. After opening up the tournament with a Preliminary Round win by Fall in 54 seconds, Tidwell matched up with Zach Fry of Stanford Olympia in the Championship First Round and would take Fry down by Fall in 2:13. That win would be his 100th career win and he would follow up the milestone moment by getting a Tech Fall win in the Championship Quarterfinals, a win by Decision in the Championship Semifinals and capped the weekend off with a Major Decision win to capture the 190lb title. The title is his second individual title of the year after he captured the 190lb Championship at the Steve Bradley Invitational at Civic Memorial in December. Tidwell now stands at 103 career wins with a lot of wrestling still left this season as he works towards the Individual State Tournament where he was the 1A 190lb fourth place finisher last year and helped the Vandals to a fourth place Dual Team State finish a year ago.
